A Valuable Summer – Apply for a Summer Job at Mo Gård!

Do you want to make a difference for another person while gaining a summer filled with new knowledge and experiences? At Mo Gård, we work to create a good life for individuals with combined disabilities – and now we are looking for summer substitutes who want to contribute to something meaningful.

With us, you will both develop and grow, while working in safe teams with strong community and support in everyday life. As a substitute in Östergötland, you will be part of an engaged group that makes a difference every day. We work in an environment where sign language and other alternative communication are common, and where care, activities, and meaningful leisure are in focus. What does a day look like?

As a substitute within Mo Gård LSS, your main task is to give the individual the best day possible! This can include everything from training, outings, or perhaps a cozy time in the garden. You always follow the individual's wishes and ensure that everyday life feels meaningful and fun. Furthermore, you will also support in everyday tasks such as personal hygiene, cooking, and cleaning.

About You

As a person, you are caring and value the well-being of others. You genuinely care about - and want to understand - other people's feelings and needs. You see opportunities in changes and find solutions when situations change. You are relationship-building, create trust, and build good collaborations with both individuals and colleagues. We believe that you are reliable, persistent, and can meet both everyday life and challenges with patience and thoughtfulness, while being secure in yourself and having good self-awareness.

If you have experience working with people in care and support and/or have knowledge about individuals with disabilities, that’s great, although it’s not a requirement. However, we do see that you have a high school diploma as a foundation. To succeed in this role, your interest in people and your commitment are very important. Perhaps you are a student looking for practical experience while making a difference?

Since you will document your work, you also need to have a good command of the Swedish language.

Want to learn sign language?

In our team, we use sign language and other ways to communicate – but no stress, we will provide you with the training you need if you don’t know it yet. What matters is your willingness to learn and contribute!

With us in Östergötland

In Östergötland, our operations consist of 10 units: 6 units centrally located in Finspång and 5 units in Doverstorp, as well as a daily activity center. Our unit managers work in the operations they lead and share their time between two units. Employment

In this recruitment, we do not accept CVs or cover letters and therefore ask you as an applicant to take the time to answer the questions we have. Some are salary-related if you proceed in the process, so you may need to specify, for example, experience.

A prerequisite for employment is that you can provide an extract from the criminal record.

A driving license (B) is also a requirement.

We apply individual salary setting and for the summer substitute position, hourly wages are usually paid, according to agreement.
